The Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) participated today at the first CIIE – CEE promotion event held online. During the event, representatives of RAS signed a contract of participation at China International Import Expo 2021, which is to be held in November in Shanghai.

China International Import Expo is one of the important trade shows for Serbian companies, which have been participating in this international exhibition since its beginning, in 2018. Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, jointly organize the participation of Serbian companies at the National Pavilion at CIIE.

The online promotion event gathered organizations and institutions dealing with the organization of an exhibition of companies at this trade show.

Mr. Rados Gazdić, acting director of RAS addressed the audience via video message emphasizing the importance of the friendship and economic relationship between The People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Serbia. Gazdić expressed gratitude to the organizers, China International Import Expo Bureau, National Exhibition and Convention Center, and the People’s Republic of China for creating this important event and for granting the Republic of Serbia the opportunity to present its products and establish business cooperation with Chinese companies. 

Moreover, he stressed the growing interest of Serbian companies to participate at the CIIE trade show and present their products, mainly from the agri-food industry. Serbian companies participate in this trade show since 2018 when it was held for the first time, and the results from the participation are quite impressive, which is the reason to participate again this year and to improve our exports to China.

Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia will organize the participation of Serbian companies at CIIE 2021, within the National Pavilion of 200 sqm.
