WACKER NEUSON BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW FACTORY IN KRAGUJEVAC

 German Wacker Neuson starts constructing the new production plant in the City of Kragujevac. The investment is €26 million worth and will provide 200 new jobs.

The company is present in Kragujevac since 2007 and currently employs around 650 people. And as announced now in Kragujevac starts the new project, with modern production and creating new jobs. 

In the new facility of 20.000 square meters, the production should start in October this year. Wacker Neuson will also continue cooperating with schools in the City of Kragujevac within the dual education system. 

The President of the Republic of Serbia attended the groundbreaking ceremony. He said that Germany is Serbia’s most important partner when it comes to foreign trade and, its contribution to Serbia is not only in terms of exports but also in terms of work ethics, responsibility and discipline. Vučić adds that Kragujevac has always been the industrial center, especially in the region of Šumadija, and invited all other companies to invest in Kragujevac. 

Wacker Neuson headquartered in Munich is a leading manufacturer of construction equipment and compact machines for concrete and construction site technology listed on the stock market. The group includes the product brands Wacker Neuson, Kramer, and Weidemann. It employs 5.500 people worldwide.
