GRUNDFOS EXPANDS PRODUCTION IN SERBIA

Danish Grundfos, already present in the Municipality of Indjija, breaks ground for an additional production facility that will produce water pumps. The investment is worth approximately €20 million.

A new production plant is about to be built on an area of 17.000 square meters. It will be energy efficient factory, recycling up to 100% of wastewater.

Currently, Grundfos has around 900 employers in Inđija, and this new investment will create additional jobs trespassing 1.000 for sure.

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by the company’s officials, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic, Minister of Economy Andjelka Atanaskovic, Major of Indjija Vladimir Gak, and H.E. ambassador of Denmark to Serbia Susanne Shine.

The Prime Minister pointed out that Indjija is one of the best European locations for investment, adding that with this investment, Grundfos exceeds the number of 1,000 employees and becomes the third largest factory of that company in the world.

Grundfos is a pump manufacturer headquartered in Denmark, but directly accessible in 56 countries worldwide through 83 companies, and a huge network of distributors, partners, and sub-dealers. It is a global company with an aim to develop solutions for the world’s water challenges.
