Serbia improved its position on the World Economic Forum list

Serbia has advanced 5 places in comparison to the previous year, and is now ranked 65th out of 140 countries according to the World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Index for 2018.

The greatest progress has been made in the areas of macroeconomic stability, financial system, innovation capacity, and infrastructure. Also, Serbia has made the biggest progress in relation to the countries of the region.

The Global Competitiveness Index is one of the most important indicators that creditors and potential investors take into account when deciding to invest in a country.
