For what reason have you invested in Serbia and what are your experiences so far?
Sitel continuously search global markets for ways in which we can deliver our clients the quality of service that their customers deserve. We took the decision to locate in Serbia following an extensive research and evaluation of numerous countries across EMEA. We rapidly came to see that Serbia offered everything that we look for in a market for our centers:
- An educated, skilled and multi-lingual labor force
- Robust communications and IT infrastructure
- Political and economic stability
Belgrade’s excellent infrastructure, both from an ICT and transportation perspective, were also key factors in our decision to locate here. Since Sitel has started business in Belgrade, we could substantially grow our service offer, by now offering world-leading, industry-specific customer experience solutions to some of the best known brands in the world. We have established a first-class contact center with a well-educated talent pool, and a wide breadth of language skills that make the site a highly attractive choice for many of our clients. Our site in Belgrade has contributed to establishing another stable path of growth in the Eastern European region – which is very important to us. What would you recommend other companies/investor which are considering to establish a production site in Serbia?
